Every week, Baby Swimmer classes are available at Actiform Z5 Fitness Centre. Parents with babies or toddlers can safely join classes as the pool is solely open for this purpose.

Description of Baby Swimmer Classes

The Baby Swimmer Classes at Actiform Z5 evolve according to age (from four-month-old babies to four-year-old children).

• Babies aged from 4 to 12 months : Your child will rediscover the apnea reflex and how to swim underwater in a fun way.
• Babies aged from 12 to 24 months : At this stage, your child improves his/her apnea reflex as well as his/her pedalling reflex. In this way, their underwater experience and discovering new situations are both made easier.
• Toddlers aged from 24 to 36 months : Your child will acquire better motricity and be able to get back to the surface and to swim towards you (thanks to abilities gained during the two previous courses).
• Child aged from 3 and up : Your child becomes more autonomous in water … From four and onwards, swimming classes can be considered.

Benefits of Baby Swimming

Baby Swimmer Classes, entirely reserved for very young children, are more than simple classic swimming classes. They foster a true educational bond between parents and their children. These classes enable a privileged relationship with your child all while developing his/her autonomy in water (knowing how to swim can save them from drowning and moving confidently through water can be part of their overall development).

When Can my Baby Join Baby Swimmers ?

Baby Swimming is mainly for babies and toddlers (from 6 months to four years). Depending on your child’s general development and on his/her motivation, he/she can continue his/her learning in classic swimming classes from the age of four.
